What's Going to Make This Rhubarb Festival Super?
Great question! We are making this the Super Rhubarb Festival commemorating Chum's 50th Anniversary. Now that we are at the end of our 50th anniversary year celebration, we wanted to throw the community an extra big party to say thank you for all of your support. It has been an incredible year, from the largest fall dinner we have ever had to all the different clothing and food drives YOU started.

The year's SUPER Rhubarb Festival will be bigger and better than ever. We are making more pie, more food, and even more games for everyone to enjoy. Rhubarbara is even challenging some of the local mascots to a foot race!

This will be one of the most memorable Rhubarb Festivals, so mark your calendar and join us on Saturday, June 29!

Shuttles, Transportation, and Parking
With the Super Rhubarb Festival being the biggest Rhubarb Festival to date, we thought it would be good to help everyone get there! There will be shuttles running from UMD directly to the Super Rhubarb Festival at Stella Maris Academy Holy Rosary Campus from 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM. Park in UMD's Maroon Lot B (see below) right off of College St. and University Drive.

East 4th Street will be closed from Hawthorne Road to Wallace Avenue. Parking will be available at Ordean-East Middle School and the upper lot at Stella Maris Academy Holy Rosary Campus, but very limited. We have lots of people planning to come this year and we are highly encouraging people to take the shuttle. Please plan accordingly!

We are raffling off a couple of awesome items at this year's Super Rhubarb Festival. Stop in at Chum Admin (102 West 2nd Street) for a ticket and a chance to win!

Tom Lohman created another beautiful hand-turned segmented bowl, a true work of art.

Chum Quilters (women from 5 congregations) have produced a gorgeous hand-stitched quilt incorporating hundreds of different fabrics.
Each of these items will be raffled separately, with the drawing at 2 PM on Saturday, June 29 at the Super Rhubarb Festival (need not be present to win). $5 for a chance to win, and to support the work of Chum!
