We recently started the Mission Advancement Department at Chum and are ready to hire a director. This is our main fundraising program for Chum, ensuring we have the funds and support needed to serve our guests. In this role, you will guide and develop the strategy needed to not only keep our programs running but also bring us into a much-needed period of growth. The Stabilization Manager is responsible for operating multiple, innovative shelter and drop-in programs that serve a population of people who are not utilizing traditional emergency shelters. Programs include but are not limited to a seasonal Warming Center and Safe Bay parking for people living in vehicles. This position is responsible for hiring and training staff and overseeing operations at multiple sites, including emergency on-call responsibilities. Full-time starting at $21.16/hour.

We are looking for a Family Coach at the Steve O'Neil Apartments. You will be working directly with residents, advocating and supporting those impacted by homelessness. This is an incredibly rewarding role, and you would have the opportunity to make a big difference in our community. Starting at $20.30/hour.

In this role, you will be responsible for Emergency Shelter/Drop-In Center services and other activities, as needed, by performing the following duties personally or through other employees and/or volunteers. We are looking for St. Francis Support Staff at Chum. In this role, you will be responsible for St. Francis services and other activities, as needed, by performing the following duties personally or through other employees and/or volunteers. This is an incredibly rewarding role, and you would have the opportunity to make a big difference in our community. Starting at $17/hour and $18/hour for overnights.

We would not be able to take care of and support our guests using these programs without our support staff. This role is the bones of the program, checking in with, and making sure folks using the warming center/safe bay are taken care of. As the warming center closes in the spring of this year, Safe Bay will open shortly after. We need your help for both! Full-time and Part-time positions are available starting at $17/hour and $18/hour for overnights.

We are looking for a Construction Project Manager for Stepping On Up. In this role, you will facilitate the development of shelter and housing sites as part of a community-wide strategic initiative to address homelessness in Duluth. They will take projects from the vision stage to handover to the operating organization(s) by overseeing the design, construction, budget, and closeout of physical properties and buildings for use as temporary shelter and permanent housing. This position is part-time and starts at $25/hour.

The need for more folks in this position has been steadily increasing. We are barely able to keep up with and provide support to people experiencing unsheltered homelessness. In this role, you would be directly working with people experiencing homelessness and helping them get access to resources. Full-time starting at $20.30/hour.
