A Day Without Childcare

Childcare is essential for families and businesses to thrive, but as you’ve likely heard or experienced, it’s a challenge to find good, safe, and reliable childcare. The Duluth Childcare Task Force reports that we are in need of over 1,000 childcare slots to meet the true need here in our city. We are all impacted by the need for childcare in the Northland. The Day Without Childcare is March 3, where three childcare centers in Duluth are closing their doors for the day to show how important childcare is to our community and advocate for a fully funded childcare system to ensure our Littlest Minnesotans have the care they need. Come to Young Minds Learning Center at 11:00 for a movie showing followed by a Childcare Panel and a Press Conference.
