Chum Community Delegate Application

Thank you for your interest in assisting Chum as a community delegate. Please review the expectations and fill out the application below. Be aware that these questions are not meant to exclude people, but to identify training and orientation needs. We look forward to hearing

Community (At-large) Delegate* Expectations


●     Support the Chum mission: People of Faith working together to provide basic needs, foster stable lives, and organize for a just and compassionate community.

●     Understand Chum's organization and its policies and abide by them.

●     Attend the three Delegate Assembly meetings each year.

●     Attend other Chum events throughout the year, when possible.

●     Individually volunteer in some additional capacity within Chum, such as a program or ad-hoc committee, or as a volunteer within a Chum program.

●     Help recruit volunteers and facilitate financial support from the community.

●     Become more directly involved and familiar with Chum in ways that will bring you in contact with Chum staff, Board and committee members or those served through Chum’s programs.

●     Serve as an ambassador both in communicating out and gathering feedback about our work.

●     Represent Chum in the community.
