Programs
Stabilization Services
The entry point to CHUM's Stabilization Services is generally the CHUM Center where people can get off the street and find resources and assistance with solving problems related to poverty and homelessness. The CHUM Center provides the entry for Emergency Shelter for individuals and families, Housing Advocacy services, Income Evaluation and Employment Services, a Nurse Clinic and Street Case Management. Within these service areas our neighbors are encouraged to work
through barriers which prevent them from having a stable living situation.
Distributive Services
Distributive Services solicits, receives, inventories and distributes food and household items donated to CHUM and Duluth's Emergency Food Shelf from individuals, churches and businesses.
Outreach and Organizing
Congregational Outreach and Community Organizing provides concrete, grass roots opportunities for congregations to partner with the greater community to address systemic barriers for community members living on the margins. Volunteer involvement is essential to ignite the potential for active faith in creating positive inclusive, social and economic changes.
